October of 1917, Russia had its first tilt towards communism. Lenin overthrew Tsars Nicholas ll and invoked Marxism and this paved the way for other communist revolutions in the world, In 1919, two years after the Russian revolution China began its communist movement, and on July 21, 1921 the foundation was laid for communism in China hence this date is very important to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). On August 1, 1927 Mao took over, and had a bare minimal impact till 1945, during world war II, Japanese had invaded China to fight against Russia and this was the time Mao capitalised and rose to power, so in 1945 officially civil war began in China and in 1949 Chiang Kai-shek was defeated and KMT leaders fled to Taipei (Taiwan), and these two events are centenary in Chinese history and henceforth China is gearing up to celebrate its 100th anniversary.
They have to show up in 2021 and give a record of 100 years of China. 1991 is the apogee of US with the collapse of USSR, and since then we had roughly 30 years of uni-polar world order and China wants to change the status quo. Chinese GDP has gone up by 15 folds since 2000s and the dip in relations between NATO and US has benefitted China. This alienation has led China to conquer markets in EU and Russia as well. Geo-political alienation has helped Chinese cause too. The moves made by China are not so subtle and are clearly visible yet no one is really bothered about them.
The simple aim of China is to dominate the world and this is nothing new, US did that before. Lately, World Health Organisation (WHO) has come under a lot of criticism due to Chinese preponderance-United Nations at large, the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) and regional grouping of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa (BRICS) which they control [alternative to International Monetary Fund (IMF] also China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), China Myanmar Economic Corridor (CMEC), Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). Chinese are dumping dollars in their foreign exchange and are giving out dollars (loans/debt trap loans) to countries in Africa, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Laos, Burma, Bangladesh and this is done to exchange RMB as the reserve currency of global trade and with the intent to takeover territories and strategic ports like Hambantota.
They have doubled their GDP in last decade, they have 60 per cent urbanisation rate. China already has an indigenous aircraft carrier, it has drastically cut down the infantry and moved to mechanised infantry. Chinese know that the upcoming battles will be fought in plains and seas hence raised a marine corps as the fourth arm. With 43 corvettes commissioned in last decade PLA navy has seen exponential rise.
Chinese plan to take over Taiwan is well known and they will do it anyhow, they have already started on this project. PLA navy is used to put pressure on Taiwan and the use of all avenues to isolated Taiwan from rest of the world. Chinese have the clear intent to annex Taiwan by 2040.
The guiding philosophy behind this midsummer madness is XI’s Chinese dream to restore China as the middle kingdom. Xi wants to conquer Trade, Science and Geo-politics. China is already the world’s largest trading partner that way due to Belt and Road Initiative, China becomes the hub of global trade. They are the world leaders in AI and Huawei has the best 5G technology right now. Big Data is owned by mostly Chinese companies. Alibaba is rising everyday as we speak.
They want the Chinese model of governance and built hospital in 10 days but we put together Rs two lakh hospital beds in nearly the same time in India. Chinese sell it very hard, they want to showcase the best liberal socialist model; lesser known fact is that they had massacred nearly 10 lakh Chinese to reach at this juncture. Mao was no different than Hitler or Stalin even much worse than both together. Legitimacy of this model relies on their citizens to accept it and just like every other communist government CCP also lives on propaganda for its existence.
Chinese way of thinking is just like Kautilyan way of thinking to win the battle without even firing a single bullet. Mao says scarifies are to be made for the greater good of people. China is mostly zero phobia Hun majority community. Minorities are either displaced or converted into Hun majority later is proved by influx of Huns in Tibet, Single race that has Nazi outlook of superiority. We’ll never know what the truth behind Covid-19 was. But yes Chinese did plan for scenarios where they can fastrack the Chinese dream. They have made calculated moves on how to take over IMF, BRICS bank as the primary lender in post-Covid world.
Why this Chinese Dream is so important is because due to Covid, Xi has a credibility loss on the home turf and he views this very Chinese dream as a make or break situation for himself and CCP. They have the South China Sea; they have clear indication as to when Taiwan will join. Chinese have the control over Hong Kong. They are working to destabilise South Korea, Japan and US. Russia is on their side as well and they have two troubled nations-Pakistan and North Korea as ally and Chinese know how to use them well. They successfully exported Covid-19 to every part of the world, and claimed that they handled it better than anyone else. And if you still think they won’t lay claim over Arunachal Pradesh, God bless you!
