Tel Aviv. The new Iran-China agreement will enable Tehran to get very advanced Chinese made weapon systems. “This agreement makes Iran even a more threatening enemy of Israel, Israeli sources said on March 27.

The 25 years agreement was signed while both countries are still under US sanctions. The agreement will help both countries to bypass the sanctions. Israeli sources said. The agreement has been prepared since Chinese President Xi Jinping visited Iran in 2016.

The exact details of the agreement have not been exposed but experts say that the main pillar is what is called “strategic accord” that includes significant Chinese investments in Iran’s main economic sectors such as energy and infrastructure, in addition to military cooperation.

It comes as both Iran and China are under different levels of sanctions imposed by the US.

After unilaterally abandoning Iran’s 2015 nuclear deal, former US President Donald Trump imposed harsh sanctions on Iran that have blacklisted its entire financial system.

As reported by Raksha Anirveda Iran’s military industry continues to manufacture weapon systems based on American made ones, using reverse engineering.

Some months ago the Iranians showcased an air – ground missile the Ghaem 114 which is actually the Iranian version of the US-guided Hellfire AGM 114 missile. Air – ground missile is used by Apache helicopters or skimmers and is designed to hit targets on land.

The AGM-114, Air – ground missile was originally developed as an anti armor weapon but later versions have been used for other missions.

Reports in Arab media say that the new missiles was first seen carried by a Revolutionary Guards assault helicopter in one of its maneuvers but last week the missile was officially unveiled for the first time.

The United States has frequently used the Hellfire missile during the fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan, two countries with high accessibility to Iran which it has probably been able to learn about and replicate.

This probably reversed engineered missile proves that the Iranians continue to manufacture and upgrade old US made weapon systems.

One very known effort is the Iranian program aimed at keeping some of its old US made F-4 fighter aircraft in flying condition.

As reported by Raksha Anirveda, in recent months, the Iranians have unveiled an upgrade of their old US made F-4.

The Iranians have begun to use a new simulator that they claim “will allow pilots to carry out advanced tactics.”

The upgrade also includes the installation of a new radar, the Iranians claim was developed locally.

The Iranians have also manufactured some spare parts for the old fighter aircraft, since these are not available in the market, not even by the use of straw companies that the Iranians operate for these purposes.

During the 1960s and 1970s Iran purchased 225 F-4s. After the Islamic revolution, the US imposed an embargo on Iran, including a full halt to all shipment of spare parts.

The situation of the Iranian F-4 fleet has been deteriorating and became dangerous.

Many aircraft crashed due to malfunctions, after being disabled due to a lack of spare parts. Reports point to a plan based on cannibalizing some F-4s, to use them as spare parts.

Later on, the Iranians began to manufacture the aircraft parts themselves, or they succeeded in getting their hands on the parts that circulated through the black market.

Israeli sources said that now with the new agreement China will sell Iran very advanced weapon systems “for China, Iran is a huge market.” The sources said that Iran will pay for the new weapons with oil.

Over the past 14 months, Iran sent 17.8 million tons (approximated 306,000 barrels per day) of crude oil to China.

The shipments according to the sources will be bigger now and more frequent.
