DEFEA 2021 Witnessed Power Packed Ministerial Visits, High Level Representation from Global Defence Industries

 Athens: Seven Ministers of Defence, and in particular the ones of Italy, Portugal, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, North Macedonia and Cyprus, visited DEFEA 2021, as well as the Deputy Ministers of Defence and Armaments of Britain, Armenia, and Bulgaria.

Also the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of U.A.E, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Defence of Iraq, the Chief of the Czech Armed Forces, the Chief of the Rwandan Armed Forces, the Director General of the Ministry of Defence of Cyprus and the Chief of the General Staff of the National Guard.

The exhibition was also visited by the Executive Director of the European Defence Agency (EDA), Mr. Jiri Sedivy, and the Head of the NATO Support and Procurement Service (NSPA) Mr. Patrick Fesquet. On the sidelines of the exhibition, Mr. Sedivy had a meeting with the Minister of National Defence, Mr. Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos.

The largest defence industries in the world were represented at a very high level at DEFEA 2021. Presidents, Vice Presidents, CEOs and General Directors of companies such as Dassault Aviation, MBDA, Damen, Lockheed Martin, Airbus, Naval Group, ARQUUS, Ceska Zbrojovka, Thales, ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems, Nexter, IAI, IWI, ELBIT, Boeing and BAE were present at the exhibition and made flattering comments about the organising of DEFEA and the contacts they have made in Athens.
